Pennsylvania Avenue Strategies has produced many high profile events throughout the country.

2008 Presidential Primary Debates:

Pennsylvania Avenue Strategies was selected to handle logistical planning and event management for 16 nationally televised Democratic and Republican Presidential Primary debates.

From Manchester, New Hampshire to Los Angeles, California, Pennsylvania Avenue Strategies served as the liaison between the television networks and each of the presidential campaigns. Responsibilities included: writing format and logistics memos, coordinating debate pre-program, setting up candidate green rooms, campaign staff offices, spin rooms, media filing centers, campaign visibility areas and student watch parties.

Working closely with senior and traveling staff from each presidential campaign ensured that all details and logistical movements of the debate were understood.  Prior to every debate, we briefed each candidate on format, staging and logistical movements unique to that debate.

Drew Carey Comedy Tour of Iraq:

A few months after the war in Iraq began, Pennsylvania Avenue Strategies was asked by the Office of Ambassador Paul Bremer to bring some celebrities to the Middle East to entertain the troops.  Six weeks later the Drew Carey Comedy Tour arrived in the Middle East and performed to huge and appreciative crowds.  Tour members included:  Drew Carey, Kathy Kinney, Kyle Dunnigan, Andres Fernandez, Jeffrey Ross, Black Clark and Rocky LaPorte.

From the lunch with the General and his staff at the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) Headquarters to breakfast with the troops at a base in the desert of Al Asad, the Drew Carey Comedy Tour brought a little bit of home to the brave military serving their country overseas in a time of war.

One of the participants of the comedy tour, comedian Jeffrey Ross filmed the entire trip with his camcorder and then produced the movie “Patriot Act,” which aired on Showtime. General Richard Meyers, Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff (2001-2005), attended the Washington premiere.

Friends of the Secret Service Family Fund – Fundraising Golf Tournament and Silent Auction:

After the senseless bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, we established a 501(C3) not-for-profit organization to assist the families of the six Secret Service Agents and Staff that died in the assault.

Working closely with the United States Secret Service, we assembled a group of honorary chairmen, consisting of every living former Treasury Secretary and a host committee consisting of many former White House Staff Members and Members of Congress.

Our fundraising golf tournament and silent auction received personal donations and auction items from every living President.  The event was a huge success allowing The Friends of the Secret Service Family Fund to distribute a significant amount of money to the families of those killed in the bombing.
